Seven days of gloom. A week of sorrow and sadness. That's how many days AlDub fans have endured without seeing much of the usual things they have been used to for the last seven weeks. No fansigns, no pabebe wave, no on-screen kiss. It was a sudden overturn of emotions totally drained from the sight of joy and love that viewers looked forward to each week. Even their 8th weeksary was not spared from the misery of being apart and not seeing each other well.
However, speculations arose when Alden was kidnapped by the same people who took Yaya Dub away. Yes, for days that there was no clue of her whereabouts, the mastermind thought of also kidnapping Alden, most likely because their emotions and faith are still intact, in a way. It was, as it seemed, that taking Alden away from his Gazebo of Memories shattered all hope he has left of reminiscing those good times with Yaya Dub. Storing him away into a rundown warehouse was not enough. He clinged to that one thing he holds dear the most: The memory of both him and Yaya, closest to his heart.
We soon discovered that the one person responsible both for Yaya's and Alden's kidnapping was none other than the jealous New Yorker, Duhrizz. Yep, she never went back to New York. She never left out of the country. For all we know, she may have been orchestrating all this criminal frenzy in the comforts of the beaches of Dakak, while sipping a cup of Starbox's Mocha Frappe for her inspiration. She hated Yaya and she loved Alden more than anything. Just like anyone else, her feelings were stirred the moment she saw Alden flashing his captivating dimple on screen. That must have triggered that motive of hate. She wanted Bae all for herself.
So to conclude, yes, she has the very motive that made the crime a reality.
What occured last Saturday, about the double van tripping, may have been inspired when Duhrizz was staying in Dakak, seeing group excursions traveling in vans. I can't think of anything else as creative and as crafty as that. Hats off to the brains behind the crime!
Anyway, I was not able to watch Eat Bulaga from start to finish, but I was able to watch the Kalyeserye right in the part when the van was fast approaching Broadway. I thought right then that I missed many parts, not until I saw the time. I was glad that I caught up exactly when I needed to.
What I saw was an explosion of revelations, emotions, and frustrations! I was actually surprised it was Duhrizz that planned the kidnapping, but I am sure that she's not alone. After all, we saw a man wearing a black leather jacket holding Yaya Dub within the week. And based from Yaya's reaction, she may be familiar with the man that she encountered in the shabby-looking room. So meaning, even though Alden's already released and Yaya was freed, the mysteries are not yet solved. There are so many things that would still occur in the serye, which may take months to transpire.
The emotion part is truly an eruption of what has been supressed and witheld for over seven days. Imagine how everything sums up with seven days of not doing their usual romantic stuff. In a word, it could be called "Consolation". A reward for all the hardships, the pain, the sorrow, and the sadness felt by the love team and the whole AlDub Nation for an entire week. And the Kalyeserye did not disappoint the anxious and excited fans.
Let me begin with Bae Alden since his blindfold was the first to be removed. As anticipated through my earlier statement, his excitement was overflowing! His face can no longer supress the anxiety he felt! He truly missed Maine for the longest time! In normal cases when you see your partner involved in a kidnapping scenario, you usually feel concern and worry of her welfare. Well, Alden did feel the concern. But what showed in his eyes were totally different. He stopped, he stared, and he enjoyed every second of the moment he saw Maine only about 2 feet away from each other; much closer and much intimate than their first meeting. It was as if time stopped for him. He did not mind Duhrizz. It was all about spending his precious seconds with the girl that swooped his heart away. They were only a space apart and it was more than enough for him to satisfy the longing and the missing he felt for her... and to think that all these happened when Yaya's still in blindfold.
And while Alden's heart is racing with the scene before his eyes, Duhrizz went to the other van and had Yaya Dub's blindfold removed. What happened next was so magical that the feelings exchanged will never be enough for metaphor to compare.
The moment Alden beheld Maine's face in full glory, he was totally stunned, lovestruck, and amazed in awe. He may have thought that she was really pretty the week before, but she was way more beautiful up close. His eyes smiled with bliss, his heart was pumping fast. The sensation he felt got him so tense that his lips dried and he can't move at will during the moment. His dreams fulfilled brought him to cloud 9 even while his consciousness is high as noon day. He was completely entranced with the fantasy of seeing a woderful sight that he forgot the crisis occurring in the midst of reality.
Maine, although was stressed at the moment, cannot help but smile at her heart's content. She saw Alden so close that she was stuterred and was completely clueless on how to react in seeing her crush staring at her so amorously. The scene was blooming with roses in the morning, with birds chirping, with sunshine gleaming, that the world felt the romantic chills non-stop. It was again a roller coaster ride of emotional euphoria! But this time, the speed, the high, and the madness was at a whole new height! Maine's eyes and lips smiled as wide and as far as it could that, if possible, it could extend all the way to the ears just to physically manifest the joy she's feeling. She quickly brushed her hair, removing the distraction that separated her world from Alden's. When their eyes were finally aligned, their breathing became heavier, their thoughts wilder, and their gaps closer.
If Alden could move, he could cover his face because of the kilig he's feeling! He can't hide his emotions anymore. He can't believe he's so close to her. It was more than a fulfillment of his wildest dreams. Maine's feeling the same. She had to do the pabebe wave just she could convey her innocent feelings of adoration. Duhrizz was kinda upset that she closed the van's door to end the exchange of genuine feelings between the two lovers.
But just when everything was over, Duhrizz had to do more, feeding the insanity of the fans that waited for this fateful day. She had Yaya and Alden put on blindfold, take them out of their vans, and have them stand beside each other. However, instead of seeing romance, the air of anxiety and concern was thick. You could see them feel each other's presence but were confused with the darkness in their world. It was a struggle for them. They want to feel each other very near. Duhrizz had to play along, and I am sure she felt the worry and the sadness.
To compensate for the pain, she had to do the unthinkable! No one expected that at a time of criminal frenzy, she had to ask for a cup of Starbox. What for? To make a fool of the victims? So Duhrizz had to give Alden the cup and sip from the straw for a drink of cold coffee. I thought at first that Duhrizz took the moment to feel his lips draw close to hers through the straw. But no! She did not do it! Oh! The humanity of it all! The whole world was screaming, shouting, and getting crazy of the cunning and crafty idea of what's to happen next.
And just when everyone's minds are catching up to reality, Duhrizz fulfilled a fantasy happening in the movies. She let Maine sip on the same straw that Alden used for the coffee. Wah! And before we knew it, Yaya just had the most peculiar indirect kiss of her lifetime. Without her knowing, she just had a piece of Alden's lips without kissing each other. Some say it's plain lame, but everyone else found it to be braintwisting! It had to end! It had to stop! Nothing lasts! Not at this moment! It's too soon and we know there would be a lot more next Saturday.
The rest was history after that. When compared to last week's episode, this one's a whole lot better! It had more stuff in it and the chill factor's in a higher level. If there's to expect, it's something that will overtake what we have witnessed... Oh boy!
