We have been watching week after week, after week. Regardless to say, we have seen every weeksary becoming more and more romantic than it was ever the week prior. That's how we, as fans, have seen how Alden and Yaya Dub celebrate their moments of joy. We have seen it grow from simple gifts, to toys, to food, to the flowers, and even special delivery items courtesy of the riding-in-tandem, or by Alden himself, fresh from the regions of Bicol. And because of the many exciting things Alden is preparing for his dearly beloved Yaya, we just can't help but become restless and anxious as to what he would come up next.
Well, for their 7th weeksary, there was sure no disappointment. And while everyone else is thinking, "wonder what it's gonna be", Alden's always into his thing of giving all the viewers some pleasant surprise. And yes, he surprised not just Yaya, not just Lola, but everyone in the world who thought that Alden has done everything he could to impress and make a move.
To think that he was already drastic at meeting Maine face to face, definitely not contented with their on-screen romance, Alden made a way to make sure that he could have the nearest experience he could have. Nope, it was never the pillow because it's too fluffy, too small, and too portable to say that he could replicate the kind of feeling as if Maine's near him. It was also not Minnie since it's too small and there was not much of any semblance to Maine, except for the fact that she's the Maine-nie to Alden. So, if you want to have a person at your side and feel as if she's really there, what would you do? The picture is also out of the question even though Alden kissing Maine's photo gives that kind of kilig everyone is looking for...
So what was it? What did Alden do to make this 7th weeksary super happy?
There was no special food and there were no treats, except for the chocolates that was delivered to Maine, with sweet messages on the wrapper. Nope, that was not the "Maine Event". In fact, it was actually surprising that the only thing seen was Alden wearing his white shirt. It's understandable to say that just staring at Maine made him full... I mean, who doesn't? To him, Maine was more than enough to satiate hunger. But there's something in Alden's eyes that shine with excitement. Yes, his heart was throbbing with the thought of Maine's reaction when she sees his wonderful surprise that's full of spice and everything nice.
But he was able to wait. He wanted to show the highlight of the weeksary to Lola Nidora. And mind you, his countenance was so dashing that Lola complemented Alden for looking differently handsome that day. So he showed the Lola Nidora standee and hugged it. Lola was not able to endure feeling the kilig, even when she tried not to, that she threw out her Pabebe tongue. Now you're imagining what's gonna happen next?
ADVISORY: Please prepare 5 cylinders of oxygen tanks and an ambulance.
Yes, Alden was able to show a standee of him and Yaya Dub. But that was not the climax of it all. Alden did not feel content with just a standee of him kissing Yaya so he took the standee away and hugged the standee instead. The kilig was so overflowing that I was able to feel awe for his very unique approach! Hands down Alden! You da man! Yes, I'm a man for crying out loud and I still feel the thrill of the move he made! He actually made me proud of being a man! Maine was also not able to contain the kilig! She was so happy that you could see it in her eyes and in her smile! Yes! "Hindi na actingan to oy!"
But that was not all. Alden also graced the 7-week relationship with a romantic gesture that's very well known to the French, particularly, those who reside in Paris. He furnished a heart lock for him and Yaya. He fastened both the locks in a chain, he kept Yaya's keys, and he gave his heart keys to Yaya. Very symbolic as it is that the only person who could unlock each others' hearts are one another, and none else. This day was indeed one of the best ever! Ask the AlDub nation and they'll echo the same response, that's for sure.
P.S. Sam Yg confirmed that Alden took Maine's standee home, when it was supposed to be left at the studio. Oh boy!
